DEVICE MANAGEMENT

Before initiating the process of downloading or uploading data using the software, it is imperative to confirm the establishment of communication between the device and the PC. Begin by connecting the device to the system, inputting the relevant parameters. Once a successful connection has been established, you may proceed with the data uploading or downloading tasks.

Connect
The device integrated into the system will be visible in the "Machine list". To select a specific device, single-click on it, and thereafter, press the "Connect" button. Please wait for a moment while the device establishes a connection with the system. In the event of a connection failure, please investigate the following:

1) Verify if the device's connection parameters align with the communication parameters found in the menu options.

2) Ensure that the communication line is properly connected and functioning.

Disconnect
After completing any operation with the device, you can disconnect the device's communication by clicking the "Disconnect" button.

Upload: To upload user information to the device, access the second tab labelled "Upload". This feature is particularly useful when users inadvertently delete personnel information or when multiple devices are concurrently in use. It streamlines the process, reduces the effort required for re-enrolment, and allows for the uploading of personnel information from the database to the machine.

It's important to note that the upload data operation can only be executed when the system and the device are in a connected state.

To initiate the upload process, follow these steps:

1. Begin by selecting the device.

2. Next, choose employees based on their respective departments. For instance, within a company with multiple departments, if you need to upload certain employees from a specific department, you can achieve this by using your mouse to select the department. All employees associated with that department will be displayed in the list.

3. From the list of employees, select the individuals you wish to upload by clicking on their names.

4. You have the option to streamline this selection process by clicking the "Select all" button to choose all employees or the "Select None" button to deselect all employees.

5. Finally, initiate the upload process by clicking the "Upload" button. The system will then begin the upload procedure.

Once the upload is completed, the system will display a popup message. Click "Ok" to
acknowledge the execution of the process.
